Beaches
We spent the entirety of Saturday lying on copacabana beach where we did some fascinating people watching.We saw the two most gruesomely self-obsessed vain men - the one here with Incredible plastered on his backside did some very entertaining thrusting at Lizzie, and his friend who came along later did some very repulsive and public touching and stroking of his willy at us.
We spent the the entirety of Sunday on ipanema beach (after visiting the ginormous hippy market).
We encountered people with severe attitude problems smoking weed right next to us and they were thrown off the beach and arrested very dramatically by the police which was massively exciting for us.On the beaches in Rio, you will get approached every 2 minutes by people trying to sell you a wide variety of random things - you can get the usual towels, jewellery, clothes, cold drinks including beer, and they also sell henna tattoos, freshly caught shrimp, cheese on a stick, and 'natural sandwiches'.

I love the sound of all the random crap that they try to sell you. Get loads of henna tattoos and fatten up on cheese (what bizarre beach food!)
